In the summer of 2015 representatives from every chapter came together with leadership of the Society and the Sigma Phi Educational Foundation to plan for the future of the Society.
Over the course of the weekend brothers identified 5 strategic areas of focus:
Out of the meeting it became clear that there were 3 priorities for Sigma Phi as an organization:
Continuity. Community. Contribution.
It was around these three priorities that Sigma Phi developed a strategic plan with a long term focus on our 200th anniversary in 2027. The strategic plan encompasses 14 objectives, 10 initiatives, and 17 different measurements of success.
Over the last year (2015-16) we have focused on developing a streamlined administrative process, improving our communications, increasing chapter support, and creating the financial infrastructure to fund the future.
Now looking forward to the next year (2016-17) we are focusing on utilizing the improvements in our processes to further develop and implement 3 initiatives:
